Fr. Jad Chlouk

Theology

Fr. Jad Chlouk is a Maronite Catholic priest and scholar, ordained in 2011, specializing in Missiology, interfaith dialogue, and Catholic education. He holds a Ph.D. in Missiology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, where his research focused on theological symbolism in evangelization. He also earned a Master’s in Missiology – New Evangelization from the same institution.

He has taught theology at Université La Sagesse in Beirut – Lebanon, covering missiology, evangelization, and inculturality, and has contributed to academic governance as a member of the Academic Quality Commission at the Pontifical Gregorian University.

Fr. Jad has participated in specialized training programs on Christian-Muslim relations and ecumenism in Rome, Athens, and Seoul-Busan. He has also held leadership roles in Catholic education and diocesan administration. His work focuses on theological education, interfaith engagement, and the Church’s mission in the modern world. He currently serves in the Maronite Eparchy of Los Angeles.
