Dr. Francisco E. Plaza is the director of Catholic Culture at Cathedral High School. He earned his PhD in Philosophy at the Center for Thomistic Studies in Houston, Texas. His dissertation dealt with Jacques Maritain’s philosophy of culture as it pertains to the crisis of modernity and the renewal of Catholic culture in a “postmodern” era. Prior to teaching at Cathedral High School, Dr. Plaza taught several core philosophy classes at the University of St. Thomas, as well as an introduction to philosophy class at St. Mary’s seminary. He is also a fellow at the Lyceum Institute online, having taught a few different advanced seminars in philosophy there.
