Dr. Peter Mango

Philosophy

Dr. Peter Mango is former Program Director of the Philosophy Program at Holy Apostles, and previously served on the Graduate Faculty Committee. He currently serves on the Undergraduate Faculty Committee and engages in Adjunct Instruction. Dr. Mango formerly served as Assistant Professor of Philosophy for the U.S. campus of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, housed out of New York’s Thornwood Conference Center, in addition to serving as Chief Academic Librarian there from 2000-2012. He has served in academic administration as Director of External Affairs for the Institute for the Psychological Sciences, (now housed at Diviner Mercy University), as well as Director of Financial Aid, Dean of Students, Adj. Professor, and PDSO in charge of International Students at IPS. Dr. Mango has engaged in adjunct instruction at multiple institutions since 2010, as well as engaging in various fundraising projects. Dr. Mango’s Ph.D. is in Philosophy, received summa cum laude from Rome’s Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum. He also holds an MLIS degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, also received summa cum laude. Dr. Mango has helped edit and translate publications for Springer Verlag sponsored by the UNESCO Chair of Bioethics.
