Dr. Chad Hegelmeyer is an adjunct professor of English in the Online program at Holy Apostles College and Seminary as well as an adjunct in the Humanities department at the Oregon Institute of Technology, where he teaches courses in Medical Humanities. He completed his PhD in the English Department at New York University in 2020. He specializes in American literature and culture, African American literature, literary journalism, narrative theory, and autobiography. Chad also serves as a core faculty member at the African American Intellectual Traditions Initiative and is a co-host of their podcast, Old-School.
