
Following a Master of Arts in Anthropology, Dr. Connor completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary/Intercultural Education, both at the University of Alberta in Canada. This led to a teaching position at a Native college during which time she was accepted into the Educational Policy program at U of A.
A change in geographic location led to adjunct positions at SUNY in Anthropology, and ESL at St. Lawrence University and Clarkson. Dr. Connor was accepted to complete a PhD in English Education at The University of Ottawa in Canada, with a thesis on a popular children’s animal nature author. Her most recent teaching post was for the Franklin University graduate online program for a course in qualitative research methods. Dr. Connor has experience with K-12 classrooms in New York State and in northern Ontario First Nations Reserves. She is committed to student growth and achievement.
