Dr. Derya Rix received her PhD in Politics from Durham University, England. She also holds an MA in History from Bilkent University, Turkey and is expected to complete her MA in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She has written for Ignatius Press, OSV, Angelico Press, Catholic World Report and other Catholic publications. Her research and teaching interests include political philosophy, evangelization, women in the Church and religion in the public sphere.
